ECM Artist of the Month
To celebrate turning 101, ECM will feature a new local artist each month.
Drop by ECM at 904 Sunset Avenue to check out the latest art installation each month. Artists will also be featured on our website, Facebook, and Instagram! We are still accepting applications, so submit yours today. Please apply using the QR code or the file .docx:: ecm_artist_of_the_month_fellowship.docx Email completed applications to: [email protected] with the subject line, "Artist of the Month". (If you do not hear from us in a week, please follow up via email. Sometimes the spam gets in the way!) What does the fellowship include? Each month throughout the school year (August-May), ECM will include a bio about an artist with selections from their work on our social media, on our website, e-newsletter, and on display at ECM. If you have items you would like to sell or feature during this time or any additional promotion you would like to include, that is completely fantastic. Artists are also eligible for a $100 stipend for their contributions. |
What do we need from you? Two months before your work is featured, we need for you to submit your bio (250 words, at least), a headshot, any promotional material (social media links, products for sale etc.) and your artwork or creative pieces, to Pastor Christian. (If you require a headshot, we can help with that too!) Please type up your information for submission. If you require a computer, please let Pastor Christian know so she can plan accordingly.
If you are submitting physical artwork, please consider submitting 5 or 6 pieces of your artwork ready to display. If you have another medium, please submit it in a finished format which is “easy to share” using a PC. If you have a suggestion for placement or arrangement, please include that on this form.
We will also need you to sign a waiver (below) so we can share your excellence with folks. After your featured month, we will coordinate a time for you to pick up your art from ECM. You are also welcome to donate any of your pieces to ECM for a part of our personal collection for display.
Our theme is “ECM 101: 101 Years of Vibrant Community”. We plan to feature quintessential ECM and the amazing people who call this place theirs. If you would like to theme your artistic contributions around this idea, feel free to do so.
Thank you for being a part of this exciting time in the history of ECM! We are thrilled to have you involved in this historical moment. You make ECM a wonderful place to call home.

(And you!)
Don't create physical art? That's ok! We want to support and acknowledge creatives from many backgrounds.

ECM at KSU "ECM feels safe. You sit down to a meal [at RFL] and hear so many different languages. I don't worry about not being from the US. It's home to me at K-State." -Gaby "ECM encouraged me when others didn't. I couldn't have done it without this community. I just want to give back." -Sam "Every time you are at ECM, you are reminded that you are welcome. It's awesome." -Javier |
