ECM Staff & Student Intern

Jessie Kuehner
Campus Pastor
(She/Her)

CONTACT JESSIE
Jessie Kuehner (KEY-ner) is joining ECM as the new Campus Pastor. Jessie and her family are relocating from Florida. She is a Certified Christian Educator in the PC(USA), a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and is currently in the process of ordination. Jessie completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska in Sports Medicine and Pre-Med—and yes, she is a huge Huskers fan.
Jessie has served in ministry for more than 10 years, working with children, youth, collegians, and all ages. She is especially excited to join ECM and focus fully on college students, continuing to cultivate a welcoming, safe, and affirming community for all, with a strong commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Jessie has been married to her husband Brian for 12 years. Brian owns Kuehner Solutions, a Controls Engineering company, and previously worked for NASA in Houston. They have three children: Lauren (5th grade), John (2nd grade), and Phil (4 years old). The family also has a very friendly Miniature Pinscher named Dillon, who you may see around ECM and who loves pets. The kids enjoy Cub Scouts, and John is especially into gymnastics.

Dillion is a Miniature Pinscher rescue that is about 7 years old.  He has been in the Kuehner family since May 2020.  You will find him at the ECM and walking campus with Jessie randomly; he is with Jessie for you.  Dogs have been proved stress reducers.  He loved pets, cuddles, and treats.  He is an escape artist, so Jessie will always have him on a leash.

Camille Carrier
Office Administrator

(She/Her)

CONTACT CAMille
Camille Carrier is serving as the Office Administrator for ECM. Camille is a proud K-State alum—so there’s no need to worry about Jessie being a Huskers fan; she brings plenty of Wildcat spirit to balance things out.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in 2025 and is currently working toward her Master of Public Health, all through Kansas State. She is also excited to begin her doctorate in Fall 2026.
Camille is especially thrilled to be part of ECM and to contribute to the work being done there. She is inspired every day by being involved in a community like this. Being part of the team is something she truly values, and she looks forward to continuing to learn, collaborate, and support others.
Camille and her husband have recently started their little family with their Australian Shepherd, Apollo. Born in November 2025, Apollo is still just a puppy and full of energy. He loves attention and may occasionally be seen around ECM, happily greeting anyone willing to give him a few pets.

CONTACT CAMPBELL

Campbell McNorton
Real Food Lunch Coordinator (RFL)

(She/They)

My name is Campbell McNorton, and I am from Eudora, Kansas; however, my family relocated to Manhattan, so I'm here full-time. Currently, I am a junior pursuing my undergrad at Kansas State. I am majoring in Social Transformation Studies and Global Food Systems Leadership, along with minors in Queer Studies, Leadership Studies, and a nonprofit certificate. I have always been very passionate about social justice, specifically queer justice and food justice. The mission of the program at ECM is really inspiring, and I feel that I fit in really well.  I'm very excited to be the Real Food Lunch Coordinator! It has been great so far, and I love ECM!

CONTACT FRIDA

Frida Gonzalez Thurston
Marketing & Communications Coordinator
(She/Her)

Hi! My name is Frida Gonzalez Thurston, and I’m originally from Wisconsin, but Manhattan KS has always felt like home. Growing up, I was surrounded by the Kansas State community since my mom worked at K-State, so campus life and its culture have always been a big part of my world. I am currently in my second year at Kansas State University studying Business Marketing.

I feel especially connected to my role as Marketing and Communications Coordinator at ECM because I truly enjoy using marketing as a way to bring people together and build meaningful community. Being able to share ECM’s mission, events, and stories in a way that helps students feel welcomed and included is something I’m really passionate about. I’m proud to be part of a team that creates space for connection, belonging, and support for students on campus.
